Jezzer Corbyn has been the new leader of the Labour Party and Opposition in the Commons now for a month and I have to say the world has not imploded and the ruffled feathers on the back benches of the Labour party have now been soothed. Whether or not Jezzer will become the effective leader the Labour party sooo needs after the Millband effect has eventually worn off remains to be seen. I say give the left wing of the workers party a go for after all on the benches opposite sit the pompous capitalist blood suckers and scourge of the proletariat working class Cameron and Osbourne who only understand a steak through the heart. There recent venture into ensuring the down trodden masses stay downtrodden for once even upset the Lords. Such was the panic that the conservatives sent out all points broadcasts to bring in the party faithful to vote for the removal of tax credits from those they deemed able to afford the loss of £1800 a year from their meager wages. Obeying the call was that arch blood sucker and human oil slick Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber who left his £218 tax haven in America just to fly (probably at tax payers expense) to London in order to vote against letting those far less fortunate than himself off being able to afford meat once in a while.
In a world so totally now balanced towards the one percent who own 90 percent of the wealth I think the Corbyns of this world really do not only need to be seen, but heard and seen to have an effect and oppose at every opportunity the blue tide ruining a once happy land. I have never lived in a country so totally altered to the worse and by Thatcher and Blairite excess as is represented today in this country. I was a product of the austerity that followed world war two. That austerity was brought in by Clement Atlee and his government in order to pay for the welfare state, health and education standards that led to a meritocracy that really made a difference in the 50s and 60s by giving to all regardless of class an standard of living above poverty. It brought about a time of social mobility, much happier and fairer times. Times that are now under threat by a conservative austerity program simply brought about by the excess of the bankers who bank roll the conservatives and for whom we the people are enslaved to pay for their £1.8 trillion cock up.
No I think Jezzer is a good thing and we need more of his radical left wing gusto if we are to combat and put right so many wrongs including the bedroom tax and Ian Duncan Smiths terrible reforms at the DWP. Reforms that have seen disabled people put back to work and caused their unfortunate death, or further disablement. I have a friend thus effected who was re-assessed by the French company (paid by results) taken on by the DWP to put the disabled back through the wringer. He has one kidney and one look at him is enough to make one wonder at the level of stupidity of malice at the DWP. He was told he was fit to work and lost his Personal Independence Allowance. He cannot get work of any kind that may have even remotely suited his disablement and had to work on a building site. He passed out on the first day and spent the next two days in hospital and thats why we need Jeremy Corbyn. Because Milliband did sod all to balance or oppose these dreadful inequalities now present in UK society.
