Man Flu

Well what a week sports fans! Bloody back has been giving me hell, broke my glasses when I sat on them, still cant find two mobile (yes two) mobile phones I lost and now stricken with man flu. Naturally given to me by a female sneezing all over me in of all places a kitchen outfitters. As I write, downstairs Bob the kitchen fitter is fitting the new kitchen. While I survive this massive affliction with only my dear Spaniel for company. There by hangs the rub of course, for man flu without a woman to moan, groan and get maximum sympathy from is a barren field indeed. Its at times like this I miss the old gal. Gone are the days of bear porridge and honey hot drinks and sleepy bo boes for icky bears. Now I lay alone and unwanted in my little room freezing my ample arse off. Man flu is a terrible thing to suffer and behold.

 Yesterday I was driving home when a mad women of some considerable age over took me on a blind bend! She just made it as a lorry was coming the other way. However, what made me laugh was she had a dog in the back seat with his head out the back window and I swear it was screaming as it passed me. Poor hound!

I have very close friends in Germany and one of them is a Social Worker, working with refugees. She is a typical post war baby boomer and champagne socialists. Last month she was firmly on Chancellor Merkles side concerning Germany's ability to cope with the massive influx of migrants being experienced in Europe. Now, with over 500 migrants a day arriving in her area she admits they have lost control of the situation. They are running out of housing for the migrants and finding out that a lot of these so called refugees are far from refugees. A lot are from Pakistan and Africa. They are also falling out along typical tribal, religious and ethnic lines among themselves and the local population. My friend was told very firmly by one arab that her dress was inappropriate and the refugees did not like the food being given them! Further, the Albanians had organised a protection racket in one refugee center and things were set to get uglier.

I never cease to be amazed at how stupid people are. Merkle must have known that if you say "all welcome" then all will come.. Its not exactly unreasonable to assume that things will get out of hand without proper control of ones borders and a stringent application of laws to assure refugees are refugees and those "trying it on" are rejected.

Right a short weekly report this week due to man. I will now retire back to my bed with my spaniel to feel sorry for myself and be lonely.. Blah.
