Morning dear reader... Sorry for my absence. No particular reason, just doing other stuff!
However, what a times we live in here in the dis-United Kingdom. Politically, the liberals have been destroyed by the office of power that they had so illuded them since the 1920s. To think the party of Lloyd George and Churchill is no more.

Labour under Comrade Corbyn has divided betwix the Blarists and the Marxists. Its all 1981 again and the fracture of Labour and the begining of the SDP.

Conservatives have imploded having promised a referendum for many years to once and for all settle the internal party struggle between them that want in and them that want out the EU. Amazing is too weak a word to describe the fact that although this vote was promised at the election and well before not one party was ready for the possibillity that those wishing to leave the EU would win. We now find ourselves rudderless and with all the parties fighting amongst themselves.

I suppose one could say it shows the selfish, uttlerley machiavellian way that proffessional politicians now stab each other in the back for advantage and the state of the electorate after the vote with the country about as divided as it can be, shows just how badly we are led.

It seems the Westminster Bubble has grown such a thick skin that those within its atmosphere have failed to note that the electorate have spoken and over half those used the vote to send a wake up call to Westminster. Those of you abroad may wonder why. Well, Uk has been divided for 40 years or more by one government after another promising wealth for those who have and nothing for those who have not. We have been divided for a long time and also geographically the rich south live by greed and those of us up north resent it.

Yes of course the EU played its part. Many were frieghtend of a growing Franco/German Super state. Many of the appalling way the EU/IMF had treated Portugal, Spain and Greece. Many could not believe how Merkel had caused the refugee crisis and then shovelled it off to Turkey to sort out.

Others just could not believe in an institution that could not eve decide where its Head Quarters are and commute between Strassburg and Brussells so as not to offend the French.

All of these thing prayed upon the minds of the electorate and the average chap in the street had a simple choice really.. Post Thatcherist Greed or..... Something new.. Possibly inclusion for all and equitty in this country and its wealth. And maybe just maybe it may be the start of something.

We shall see?
